Team Drafts Two Elite Players To Continue Success In 2020 NBA 2K League Season

PHILADELPHIA — FEB. 22, 2020 — Tonight, 76ers Gaming Club (GC), the NBA 2K League team of the Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment portfolio, selected two players in the 2020 NBA 2K League Draft at Terminal 5 in New York City. With the 47th pick in the third round, 76ers GC drafted Michael “USERPICK” Albiter, a 28- year-old Dallas native who played for Wizards District Gaming in the 2019 season. USERPICK averaged 7.8 points, 1.0 assist and 2.5 steals per game last season, shooting .667 percent from the field and .656 percent from three-point range.

“USERPICK is a phenomenal player that I have had my sights set on since last season,” 76ers GC Head Coach Jeff Terrell said. “His ability to score from the three-point line combined with his defensive abilities make him a solid asset to our team. USERPICK will fit seamlessly into the winning culture that we have curated over the last two seasons.”

In addition to USERPICK, 76ers GC drafted Tucker “TuckerLocksUp” Henry in the fourth round to round out the high-caliber 76ers GC roster. A product of Vancouver, Washington, TuckerLocksUp averaged 8.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game, while shooting .500 percent from the field and .333 percent from threepoint range in the 2019 season with Pacers Gaming.

“TuckerLocksUp is an exceptional center that will bring versatility to our roster,” Terrell said. “He brings veteran presence and has a history of producing on stage. I am thrilled that TuckerLocksUp will be joining us in Philadelphia.”

The players in Saturday’s draft were selected from a pool of 229 draftees from 10 different countries that were chosen by the league after an extensive tryout process that began in 2019. 76ers GC will retain four players from last season’s roster:
