Recap: Week 5 | Blazer5 Gaming

76ers Gaming Club (GC) fell to Blazer5 Gaming, 77-69, Saturday evening at the NBA 2K League Studio Powered by Intel in New York City. 76ers GC fell to 4-2 on the regular season, while Blazer5 Gaming remains the lone undefeated team in the league with a 6-0 record.


76ers GC small forward Antonio “Newdini” Newman matched his season-high with 16 points. Newdini, who celebrated his birthday on Sunday, also shot a team-high .777 percent from the field.


76ers GC center Alexander “Steez” Bernstein tallied his fourth double-double of the season as he recorded 16 points and a team-high 11 rebounds. In addition, Steez recorded a game-high four blocks, matching a season-high he set in Week 4 against Kings Guard Gaming.


76ers GC point guard and first-round pick Ethan “Radiant” White posted his fifth point-assist double-double as he scored 11 points and dished out 15 assists.


A product of Battle Creek, Michigan, Radiant continues to excel dishing the basketball while limiting turnovers. With a team-leading 76 assists to his 11 turnovers in the regular season, Radiant holds a 6.9 assist-to-turnover ratio.


All five players scored in double figures for the second straight time in the regular season  as power forward Mihad “I F E A S T” Feratovic had 15 points and shooting guard Rashann “ZDS” Petty posted 11.


Blazer5 Gaming was led by point guard Nidal “Mama Im Dat Man” Nasser and Dayne “OneWildWalnut” Downey. Mama Im Dat Man posted 21 points and 15 assists, while OneWildWalnut recorded 31 points, 15 rebounds and three blocks.
