76ers GC X CHOP 2K Showdown Powered By Nerd Street Gamers Set For Sept. 13 And 14

NBA2K 20 TOURNAMENT PROCEEDS BENEFIT CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL OF PHILADELPHIA

PHILADELPHIA – AUG. 19, 2020 – 76ers Gaming Club (GC), the NBA 2K League team of the Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment portfolio, in partnership with Nerd Street Gamers (NSG), has today announced details for 76ers GC X CHOP 2K Showdown Powered by Nerd Street Gamers. All proceeds from the two-day NBA 2K20 tournament on Sun., Sept. 13 and Mon., Sept. 14 benefit Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Tournament registration is now open at chop.edu/NBA2K through Sat., Sept. 12. 

Teams should consist of three players each and matches will run in a three-vs-three format in MyPark mode. Entry fee is $10 per person. Teams will compete in group play on Sun., Sept. 13 and playoff rounds with be played on Mon., Sept. 14. The winning team will receive a Grand Prize of $1,500. 

All proceeds from 76ers GC X CHOP 2K Showdown Powered by Nerd Street Gamers will support Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Participants can direct their donation to any specific area of the hospital, such as Child Life services, the Cancer Center or Cardiac Center. These funds will fuel promising research and innovative care at CHOP. Participants can amplify their giving by sharing their individualized donation pages with family and friends.
