76ERS GAMING CLUB RETAINS RADIANT, STEEZ AND BREADWINNERLA

WINNINGEST TEAM IN NBA 2K LEAGUE HISTORY HOLDS ON TO TALENTED HOMEGROWN TRIO FROM 2020 ROSTER

PHILADELPHIA – SEPT. 24, 2020 – 76ers Gaming Club (GC), the NBA 2K League team of the Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE) portfolio, announced today that the team will retain Ethan “Radiant” White, Alexander “Steez” Bernstein and Christopher “BreadwinnerLA” Lafanette from its 2020 roster. All NBA 2K League teams are permitted to retain three players during the current retainment period from Monday, Sept. 21 through Monday, Sept. 28. Radiant and Steez were among the original 76ers GC draft selections in 2018, while BreadwinnerLA was added in the 2019 draft.

“Out of all of our accomplishments, I am most proud of 76ers GC’s culture,” said 76ers GC Head Coach and 2019 NBA 2K League Coach of the Year Jeff Terrell. “The excellence these players have shown – off and on the court – as athletes, ambassadors of our sport, and teammates to each other, is truly impressive. This trio has endeared themselves to our fanbase and organization with their passion, determination and spirit; I’m incredibly confident in their ability to embrace and mentor their future teammates.”

In 42 games played this season, Radiant averaged a team-leading 30.7 points per game and 7.0 assists per game. A former 2019 MVP finalist and Second Team All-NBA 2K League selection, Radiant’s 1,291 total points were the second-most in the 2K League this season. His 295 assists cracked the Top-10 as the ninth-best total in the league.

“To me, Radiant is the best player in the world,” said Terrell. “Bringing back our point guard of the past three seasons was pivotal to what we want to do moving forward. His biggest strengths are obviously his scoring and unbelievable playmaking skills. His leadership and strong play helped drive our run this past season. I am proud of his development not only on the court, but as a teammate.”

Steez also saw action in all 42 games of Season 3, posting averages of 10.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.4 steals and 0.9 blocks per game. He ranked second on the team and eighth in the 2K League with 102 steals.

“Steez has been a leader on this team since he stepped foot in Philadelphia,” said Terrell. “He’s a great team captain with a tremendous gift of being able to connect with his teammates and hold them accountable. On the court, his talent and versatility continues to stand out.”

BreadwinnerLA averaged 8.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2.5 steals and 2.1 blocks per contest over the team’s 42 contests. He led the team in total rebounds (313), steals (105) and blocks (88), finishing Season 3 inside the Top-10 of the 2K League in each of the final two categories.

“I think BreadwinnerLA is one of the best defenders in the NBA 2K League,” said Terrell. “He is able to completely control the outcome of games with his impact on that end of the court. He has been an anchor and a great player for us.”

76ers GC will forfeit a 2021 fourth-round draft pick in exchange for retaining three players. All 23 teams will have the option to retain additional players (for a total of four) during a later retainment period at the cost of additional 2021 draft picks.
