76ers Gaming Club Announces Rosters, Presented by BY U.S. Air Force, For First-Ever NBA 2K League ‘Three For All Showdown’

PHILADELPHIA – MARCH 30, 2020 – 76ers Gaming Club (GC), the NBA 2K League team of the Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment portfolio, will participate in the NBA 2K League’s first-ever ‘NBA 2KL Three for All Showdown,’ an online 3-on-3 tournament featuring fan-organized teams, top female 2K players, G League players, WNBA players and social media influencers. All participants will compete in the NBA 2K20 MyPark game mode for the chance to play against NBA 2K League teams and a share of a $25,000 prize pool. 76ers GC will participate in the ‘Three for All Showdown’ beginning Wednesday, April 1.

All 76ers GC ‘Three for All Showdown’ games will be hosted on 76ers GC’s Twitch page and the Tournament’s semifinals and finals will air on the NBA 2K League Twitch and YouTube channels.

Michael Bryson and Haywood Highsmith of the Delaware Blue Coats, the Philadelphia 76ers’ NBA G League affiliate, will participate in the Xbox One bracket of the tournament alongside Chelsea Gray of the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks. Team ‘Raining Threes’ will compete for the first time against 76ers GC on Wednesday, April 1 at 11 p.m.

As a presenting partner of 76ers GC Xbox One and PlayStation4 (PS4) teams, U.S. Air Force will receive brand integration on 76ers GC’s Twitch page, Twitter and Instagram throughout the ‘NBA 2KL Three for All Showdown.’

All 76ers GC players will participate with teams in both the Xbox One and PS4 brackets.

The 76ers GC PS4 team will make its tournament debut on Wednesday, April 1 at 10 p.m., followed by the 76ers Xbox team at 11 p.m.

“We are thrilled to participate in the first-ever NBA 2KL ‘Three for All Showdown,’ which will provide NBA 2K League fans and the 2K community with a fun way to engage with our game and one another,” said 76ers GC Head Coach Jeff Terrell. “While we stay at home and practice social distancing, it’s important that we stay connected. We also look forward to sharing the virtual 2K stage with our G League counterparts, Michael Bryson and Haywood Highsmith of the Delaware Blue Coats.”

All series aside from the final rounds of each bracket will be played in best-of-three format with the final-round matchups being best-of-five. The NBA 2K League’s first-ever ‘Three for All Showdown’ includes a $25,000 prize pool; $15,000 is available to the non-NBA 2K League teams in the second stage, $9,000 is available to the NBA 2K League teams and $1,000 available to the winners of the fan-only brackets in the first stage.
